On January 14, in honor of Children’s Day, the Ministry of Education is holding a party at its headquarters in Bangkok.
It was recently revealed that the ministry’s offices on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road in Bangkok will be the site of the primary festivities celebrating Children’s Day this year.
The second Saturday of January is officially recognized as Children’s Day in Thailand, which will be observed this year on January 14.
The Thai Ministry of Education is planning a celebration with a theme that incorporates traditional Thai culture, morals, and outdoor pursuits.
Approximately one hundred thousand presents have been donated to the ministry by various government departments and private businesses for distribution to children at this occasion.
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are encouraged to enter a Thai costume contest with the chance to win a trophies and a cash reward of 3,000 baht.
The ministry has also organized a walk rally and tours of the old Chan Kasem Palace, which now serves as its headquarters.
